Pricing Every Web site is as different as every Web site owner. Some people like to be very involved in the design and development, while others prefer to hand the task off and trust that it will be done right. Basic rates for Web site design and maintenance are $50 per hour. The first consultation and initial proposal are free. Web site redesigns include a free site review with comments and recommendations. If we design your Web site, or if you already have one, Wordman will perform on-going maintenance for $50 per hour. This includes changing out photos and headline stories, posting monthly newsletters, adding new pages, adjustments to site navigation, new e-mail box set up, adding new products to an e-commerce site, etc. Proofreading and editing are charged at $25 per hour or $6.25 per page. As pricing examples, it took Wordman almost 40 hours to develop www.jimcasadaoutdoors.com with minimal artistic direction from the owner. On the other hand, we charged just over 12 billable hours for www.buckmountainrifleworks.com because the client had a clear idea of what he wanted and provided precise directions as to the pages, text and photos he wanted to include and where. |
